As I escorted some girls home ,after my #performance. A #69 year old woman -with a wobble and a cain- sang me a song on the #nola #streetcar today.
Told me
She couldn't see me ,(blind) but told me I'm a sweetheart. She was maybe #90lbs.,Brown bobbed hair She looked to be a #Cajun woman.(maaaaaybe #white) (you know #blanc from neworleans/#carribean description)  69 years ago #neworleans(even 40)
She leaned to the girls with her soft wispy #voice but they were ignoring her cause she looked old.(or something) She  explained to me"They think theyre too good To talk to me[her]. I replied ," they'll learn as they get older. " She agreed and asked "#But how do you[I] know that? " She reached for my hand and told me she was in stage 4 #cancer and asked if she could play the #harmonica ! she broke out in a #rockety dirty #bluessong I'd say was from the #40s or #50s.
Again the attention was on me as the girls digested the fact that she has just  performed #live for them. She asked for her dues and I gave her a dollar as she was on her hustle
and Since I had thrown the girls drink away [As I needed them Coherent as they had JUMPED to me to escort them #sexy (With my accent and arms showing today) Half of that (50c)  was "From "Them.
 And she said Thank you cause her #flipflops broke . She flashed her little feet all the way by her ear (like a friggin show girl salute or something)
I couldn't #help but #laugh and quickly apologize. She made a face and laughed too and said She "ain't hurt"
then it was her turn to get off the streetcar ....
