Sometimes I think they forget, because you don't wear it, on your sleeve where they can see,
without having to look so deep, because you aren't like the rest. But it seems it should be, up front,
like everything else because you're so unapologetically blunt. Because it's not, it's just inconvenient, they rather assume you're just a bitch,
cold-hearted
like that "softness" you don't possess. Instead of realizing it or accept that they just haven't earned it yet, or,
they just don't understand how to read it how to see it ..
So they don't know how to handle us with gentleness....yeah they forget ...
In all our micro-managing, politicing , damage control, working and daily routines..
In all of our exhausted-ness....
We are still feminine. We may be strong, come off as strong,
Be too real or too honest and open with all of it. But it's never really with any hidden or negative intent. So that doesn't mean we don't have or are not in touch with our innocence.
Me personally, I still like calls and texts, I like to be popped up on from whoever, wherever
I am , even if it's just a quick, "Are you okay? How are things? ", kind of check. Even if it leads to no real conversation. Just to know I'm being thought of fondly.. that's what I tend to be cravin'..
Yeah ....I think people forget ..or maybe they never knew..even women like me, still like to receive, flowers too.
